Audiophile or audio grade capacitors are usual types of capacitors but manufactured to higher specifications, in many ways they are manufactured to reproduce how capacitors and condensers were made in the 1950's and 60's; high end audio amplifier enthusiasts and manufacturers elude to the particular 'noise' a vintage quality capacitor adds to an amplifiers' character in deference to those using standard modern components.
