Details
Manufactured to military specifications as the 'Gap Kap' in the 1970's, these are new old stock high voltage discharge capacitors.
Unusual design - a slot is machine cut into the top of the ceramic package between the plates thus forming a 'spark gap'.
An interesting item, they are rated at 75pF and 1kV working voltage, with the spark arc rated between 1 and 2kV.
The quite primative manufacturing process means the body dimensions are not identical, but the main bodies are about 11mm high x 9mm wide and 3mm thick with long 50mm leads at 6mm spacing.
Supplied and priced each x1.
