Ex the Ministry of Defense, these are an interesting item !
They are a high voltage capacitor assembly consisting of 14 vintage U.T.C. capacitors each of which is 5.7pF at 4Kv, configured as 2 lots of 7 Capacitors paralleled together; so each lot giving 40pF at 4Kv, so in all thats 2 x 40pF at 4Kv.
The actual measured capacitance as against the calculated is 43.2pF twice.
Each capacitor is about 13mm diameter x 10mm and the overall assembly is 90mm x 40mm x 30mm high.
