Manufactured by IMO as their model EDX-040-21-E, these are a 0.5HP (0.4KW) single phase 240V input with 3 phase output inverter, used for the digital control of motors.
This version will run motors rated up to 0.5 Horse Power or 0.4Kw, for larger units please see our other IMO invertors.
Ideal for the precise control of drills, lathes, milling machines etc, the speed is controllable from 1 RPM to twice the motors normal speed, great for running a lathe or milling machine etc as you have exact control over the machines speed.
The maximum and minimum speed settings are also programmable as is a soft start option - useful to reduce stress on start up - and the motor can be reversed at the touch of a button.
Simple to set up and program for your application using the built in programming keypad, a set of simple parameters is used to cover 90% of set-ups, full descriptions of which are available from the IMO website.
These came to us as engineer spare parts from a now closed industrial repair company, they are in great condition cosmetically and have been tested by us to be in perfect working condition.
